Crewkerne Bowling Club

Following the success of his last appearance we are pleased to announce that Reg has kindly agreed to host another evening of music. 
He will be accompanied by his friend Sue Tyler who between them make up Replay Acoustic Duo.
In addition to their own rendition of songs they are encouraging club members and their friends to sing along and also step up to the mike and have a go.
To get you started Reg has provided a list of songs for you to chose from. Click here for the song list.
Please let him know which songs from the list you would like to sing, or if you have a particular favourite that is not on the list he will attempt to learn it before the evening. 

Everybody is welcome whether you are happy to have a go at singing or would just like a few drinks and enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Following their match against Watchet where our ladies team won both their home and away matches Rita, Debbie, Lynne and Sally have now been awarded their Hot Shot certificates. They should be very proud of themselves as scoring 8 points in a single end is a very rare occurrence. The ladies team is having a good season so far lying fourth in their league. We wish them well as the season progresses.

Thanks to Lynne for arranging the Lucky Jack Number Draw with proceeds going towards our crowdfunding campaign. Congratulations to our lucky winners. We would also like to thank Barretts the Butchers, Crewkerne Fish Bar, Bilbys and Marilyn for donating prices.

As our fundraising campaign comes to an end we would like to congratulate members and supporters of Crewkerne bowling club for their generosity in exceeding our target of £12,942. You managed to raise a total of £13,523. This money will enable the club to install new steps down to the green and to purchase a water storage tank to improve the green maintenance. Thanks to the members who put together our campaign and those who organised the extra fundraising events. A special thanks to our club members and supporters who got behind the campaign and made it happen. It is so good to see such a spirit of good will and comaraderie throughout our club. We will keep you informed of news of the projects as they progress.
