As our fundraising campaign comes to an end we would like to congratulate members and supporters of Crewkerne bowling club for their generosity in exceeding our target of £12,942. You managed to raise a total of £13,523. This money will enable the club to install new steps down to the green and to purchase a water storage tank to improve the green maintenance. Thanks to the members who put together our campaign and those who organised the extra fundraising events. A special thanks to our club members and supporters who got behind the campaign and made it happen. It is so good to see such a spirit of good will and comaraderie throughout our club. Crewkerne Bowling Club Open Day Success
Following our Open Day we would like to welcome our new members who joined us and had an introduction to our club and the sport of bowls. We have since had a very enjoyable coaching session and we look forward to seeing you again on Friday. Thanks to all our club members who helped to make the day a success. If you were unable to attend our Open Day and would like to try bowling you are very welcome to join us on Friday evenings at 6pm.
Opening Of The Green
Following our spring meeting our President Bryan Atherton bowled the first bowl of the season. This was followed by a short roll up, We are all looking forward to our first match against Sherborne.
