Thank you for visiting the Crewkerne Bowling Club website, hopefully it’s because you would like to know more about us, either as a newcomer to Lawn Green Bowling, or perhaps as a bowler looking to join a local club. New members are always welcome!
Crewkerne Bowling Club, established in 1910, is a mixed lawn bowling club. We have a well kept six rink green and our clubhouse and bar offer a friendly welcome and excellent facilities for our bowlers, social members and guests.
We are affiliated to the Somerset Bowls Association and Bowls England.
We are currently offering free membership to new members for their first year.

As club members you will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of leagues and competitions including:
Men’s and ladies Somerset County leagues and cups as well as a mixed friendly league.
We also play several friendly matches throughout the year.
You can also take part in our Wednesday Triples Competition and our Friday evening Umbrella Competition.
Newcomers will be offered coaching by our qualified coaches.
If you do not wish to bowl you will be welcome to attend as a social member which means you will be able to use the club’s facilities and take part in a variety of social events throughout the year.

Social Events
As full or social members of the club you will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of social events including coffee mornings, quiz nights and other fun activities.
