Sparks Trophy

We’re looking forward to a fun afternoon of keen competition and relaxed social interaction to see who will win the coveted Sparks Triples Competition Trophy this year! After the competition the day will culminate in a get together with food supplied by the contestants. To ensure we have a variety of food please enter what you will be bringing on the list that is on the club’s notice board.

The details are;

Date:                        Saturday September 5.
Start time:              Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time to start at 1.30pm.
Dress code:             Greys with club/white shirt.

Competition rules: A short briefing will be provided prior to the competition starting.

• The tournament will consist of 5 games of 4 ends
• Toss a coin for the mat at the start of each game
• All jacks to be centered before starting on the bell
• In the case of a ‘dead end’ 2 shots will be deducted from offending team
• 2 points for a win
• 1 point for a draw
• Please ensure that the total scores are shown clearly on score cards
• The team with the highest number of points will be declared the winners.  In the event of a tie, shot difference will count.The team with the highest number of points will be declared the winners.  In the event of a tie, shot difference will count.
  

  DO NOT CHANGE RINKS UNTIL PLAY HAS FINISHED ON ALL RINKS, AND YOUR SCORE HAS BEEN COLLECTED BY THE CO-ORDINATOR.
